I dont like throwing racism around as an excuse. I think it is a lot of the time. That being said, our area has more than its fair share of them and most honest people will admit that. I remember very distinctly, some great people ,when Justin Hamilton was at Clintwood, that would swear up and down that the other backs were as good or better and that he was given special treatment because of his color.

Great people, who would give you the shirt off their back, and weren't racist like lets go kill him, but it was just something that they had been brought up with. Not saying they wouldn't be nice to Justin, wouldn't say he was a good guy or anything like that, but when push came to shove, they had some racism in them.

We all think of racism in extremes. But it can be a really minor as well. Part of the problems with most people seeing it anymore is screaming it when it doesn't apply. It's a two-way street and some of those who scream the most about people being racist are among the most racist people around, they just see it the other way.

Heard it on the radio today. The Vick bottle testing could take weeks, they found out in 48 hours, and the video footage from the airport has been erased now. Oooh there is more to the story. Why did it get process so quickly, cover up, there has to be more to the story.

Does anybody think that if it was Joe Nobody coming through the airport with one of those bottles we would have heard about it? Heck no. It wasn't a bomb. However since it was a name, we hear about it. Now do they process someone related to a name quicker than they would a nobody? Most of the time.

It's the nature of our media anymore, tell the bad story. I mean Vick was guilty immediately. After apparently he's not, make it a conspiracy.
